CRINODENDRON HOOKERIANUM

Lantern tree. Stiffly upright evergreen shrub with narrow, dark green deeply ribbed leaves. Lantern-shaped red to deep carmine pink flowers hang from the branches from late spring to early summer. Prefers to grow against a sunny wall or with shelter and full sun. Height and spread 3m x 2m.
